New bumper painted before being shipped okay?

Hey guys,
In your opinion, is it okay to have a Poly bumper painted before it is shipped? I am not so much worried about paint damage during shipping as I am possible fitment issues that cause paint damage. I have no experience in removing and fitting body components.

Poly bumpers seem very flexible, so I would think that having it painted before shipping would not cause any issues during fitment. Am I right?

Thanks

I would personally have the bumper painted some where local. I wouldn't trust a freshly painted bumper to the abuses of shipping.

I would never paint any aftermarket body parts before fitting. There are ALWAYS fitment issues..

+1 no aftermarket part is going to fit 100%. if someone told you that, its just a ploy to get ya to buy on the spot
