Thats funny i never thought of using the vinyl tape. Since my best friend owns a body shop, i got it painted flat black,

I love the way it looks. My color is DG also.. LOOKs real bad *** on most colors.

i like it, i want to do it to mine, but im wondering how the vinyl will last next to the exhaust, im worried about it getting bubbles, and melting.

Yep, that's sweet - I'm doing that to mine - that's the next best thing to getting an aftermarket rear bumper - but I'm going to paint mine when I get my Nismo bumper after the first of the year (I'm going to paint the insides of the inlets of the front bumper too to match - will make the openings look bigger)

You guys ever think of using that fake carbon fiber vinyl instead? I have it on my front bumer for my sedan to make my front look like a NISMO/coupe bumper. I'll get a pic for you all when I get home. Just thought I'd throw that in for ideas for you all.

I think I might do that on my IP too after seeing those pics. Something else to set us apart from the crowd on the streets.

thats just like the nismo rear diffuser. I did the same thing and put carbon fiber vinyl on my rear bumper, but it looks too cheap, so i took it off.
