TYPE-N Front Bumper
TYPE-N Front Bumper
Recently got into a little accident so now i need to replace my oem bumper. The ppl at the bodyshop was going to fix my original one but thats gonna cost 300 bucks... So i figured to go for a not-so-radical kit like this one...

It looks nice.... But its made of fiberglass... Does anyone have it or know somebody that does? Whats their comments on it? Should i get it? thanks!

Re: TYPE-N Front Bumper
The replica has some fitment issues. Not a big deal...
In regards to looks of the bumper compared to the real Nismo bumper its nearly the same. Fiberglass always has the problem, well worry, that it could crack. That's just something you have deal with. If I were you, and it was only 300 to fix the bumper, I would just try to fix it, or find someone that you could buy the original one from that might have went aftermarket. Possibly, if the damage to your front is near the bottom you could get a nice lip kit?
The type-N vs. Stock body isn't that much of a difference lookwise and since buying the kit + paint + install might put you somewhere around 500.... Spending 500 to look nearly stock hurts... =\.
I went all out and now I'm waiting for my TS bumper... =)

Re: TYPE-N Front Bumper
Yes they look close to stock, but i thinkt he Nismo looks better on both the coupe and sedan IMO, gives it a more aggressive look while maintaining almost stock and subtle look, but people def. notice that there is something different about it, go for it!
