Need some help with the front bumper ( picture included)

Hi, I am going to purchase this 06 G35.

Everything looks great with the exception of front side of the car.

There are many paint chips due to small rocks on the front side of the bumper. And there are two big scratches on each corner of the bumper.

How much would it cost to repair the damage?

Im trying to get a discount on the price for the damage,
so how much room do i have to talk it down realistically?

I was so upset to see the front side! Everything looked immaculate
until i saw the front...

do you guys think i can fix the front side without major cost
and make it look as good as the other sides?

Help needed!!! THanks.

To remove, prep, paint, and re-install a front bumper on average can cost anywhere from $300-$600. I realize you are looking for a "discount", however, they saying is true, you get what you pay for. Looks like the previous owner may have gotten a cheap paint job on the body kit and now it shows. Don't make the same mistake.

It also really varies where you live. I am assuming by the license plate that you are from California. In the San Francisco Bay Area, a paint job will usually cost significantly more than one in Southern California. There are definitely variances in price by region.

My recommendation is to go to two-three reputable body shops in the area and get an estimate. If you ask for a discount, they may not do as good of a job.

Whoever painted the kit before did a horribly ****ty job.

how do you know it was painted before?
I thought my g35 was oem paint.

are you just talking about the paint on the front bumper?
If you look closely, there is a crack on the corner of the bumper ( passengerside, where it is like right above the front wheel),
is that fixable without chaing the whole bumper?

It's not OEM paint because that's not an OEM front bumper (neither are the sides or rear bumper). That's the Kenstyle (or replica) body kit.

If the bumper is fiberglass then any cracks, chips, etc can be restored to like-new condition by a good body shop. Like others have said, plan on spending around $500 for a quality job. The fitment on that front bumper looks off in certain spots, so you would need to get that fixed plus a repaint.
