I was at a shop and the guy asked me about my "custom bumper" and mentioned that he had one just like it in the back. HE DOES!! I have personally seen and touched it 100% oem nismo aero!! It's in Tampa FL, PM me and I will give you the guy's phone number. He knows what it is now, so he said he would price it at $650.

 

Nice find! How did he obtain the bumper? What kind of condition is it in? Color?

In theory yes, but when my son wrecked my car and I started trying to buy an Aero- nobody- nobody- nobody could/would guaranty that it could be shipped with 5 days. I bought the Strafe front only because I couldn't find an Aero. Then, I thought I found one- bought it from RockAuto for $660 and I received a bone stock front-it was mismarked by Keystone. RockAuto refunded my money, but after I had bought the Aero LP delete and Aero sides. They showed one more Aero in stock, but couldn't confirm whether it was also mismarked. I was lucky to find one listed on e-bay. These are hard as hell to find, I know first-hand. I'm not making any money on this deal, I just knew that people are always looking for the Aero front. Figured I would let this forum know. I've seen it, it does exist, it is ready to be picked up/delivered right now.

It was in pretty good condition, can't remember the color, but I would think you would want to refinish and not just bolt on without refinishing and blending.

BTW, I bought a 04 trunk lid so I can fully debadge now!! Good bye Doggie Door!!!

what can I say; car is under wraps 'till spring, the 08 is up FS, & nothing but my F150 to drive for the next 5 months.

 

I thought about it for about a millisecond. Given that he is in a position to help me more than I can help him- I am hoping my honesty will be rewarded by him in the future. He only charged me $120 for the trunk lid and that was before he learned about the bumper, etc. It is a graveyard for nothing but G's, Z's, M's and Titans. If I would have found this guy 3 months ago I coulda saved a whole lotta cash. They build custom motors for all the above. It's a freakin' wet dream!!

He actually agreed to sell the aero to me for $300. He told me he had a customer come in and see it and offered $300, the customer was all excited about the bumper but didn't have the cash and never came back. I said "I'll give you $300 right now." He said ok, then I told him I couldn't do that to him and explained what it was and that it should go for about $650. He thanked me- then I mentioned this forum and told him I would let people know.

So here we are.

And where is this graveyard for G's, Z's, M's and Titans that you speak of? That would've helped me a lot when I lived there. Even though I live in Dallas, most of my friends fam still live in the Tampa area, so I could ask some of them to check it out for me lol.
