My parents hit a deer with their 04 G35x, and apparently it broke some tabs off the headlight housing. Anyway, they were quoted $1100 for the dealer to fix it, and I'm wondering if there's a cheaper way. I'd much rather do the work myself, but I can't seem to find any sources for the HID housing (driver's side). I can't stand the thought of paying over a grand for a headlight. Are there any options, or do we just have to cough up a ridiculous amount of money to have the dealer do it?

I tried searching and also checked the marketplace, but no luck.

What are you looking to replace, just the outer plastic lens portion? If it's just the outer lens you could buy the ebay ones and just swap that part. Otherwise, did you see these:
