Has any1 painted the whole top part of a G35 black? Like a nsx-r
... But i painted it gloss black.... I would only do the roof not the pillars..
Just curious as to how it would look. I've noticed a lot of people on this board have painted black roofs, something that I'm considering. Never seen a pick of the whole top car painted though, I'm talking about front and back pillars. Like the early 90's 240sx. I also saw a new white maxima with a black roof, looked sharp.
Pics of the original posted question if they exist...IMO would look bad seen it on a few white civics

I agree the black roof looks good on certain colors, especially if you have other black accents, like black grill, headlights, diffuser etc. No one has posted a picture of the entire top of the car black though, just wondering how it would look.

people need to learn to read, he isnt just talking about a black roof. yes alot of us agree that looks good.
as far as the ACTUAL question, no dont do the NSX style top. the body panels of the G dont end around the back glass like the NSX. there were be no place to have a clean looking cut off for the black, it would just all of a sudden turn to body color.
