I have never heard of clear corners being legal especially since they don't have reflectors in them and that is a Department of transport law.

I might do my first illegal mod a wing less trunk.....I am not sure what the law is on third brake light requirements so I am going to have look that one up.

i believe clear corners are legal if you have amber bulbs in them & in cali you need a 3rd brake light so if you get a wingless trunk and dont change your rear deck to a wingless then its "illegal" lol laws about cars are crazy

They still don't have a reflector in them do they? I am not sure I have never looked at G35 clear corners. It is a D.O.T law that they have reflectors in them, same with the tails I am not sure the JDM tails have reflectors in them either on USDM they are on the side part of the tails. I had a cop give me some grief about it with another car i had with clear corners but he let me off with a warning as he watched me tear the tint off my front windows on the side of the freeway.

In California it is illegal to have clear lens with amber bulb doesn't work like that. The 3rd brake light happens to be a federal law that states all cars after 1986 must be manufactured with one. If you get into an accident like being rear ended they can site you at fault since you are missing the 3rd light and this is for any state. Some state pursue this like California and some do not.

To me legalities are based off personal opinios, therefore I believe my car is perfectly legal.
