Question Billet grille

I know that anyone rocking a billet grille is clowned on, and told to take em off. I was curious if anyone is rocking a billet grille that has been painted blk, is it even possible to paint them?? I was curious how that would look! Does anyone have any pics of a blk billet grille? Or maybe some one can chop one really quickly? Just the top ones, not the bottom ones...

Thanks!

We had a local guy with a billet that painted it black, it looked terrible. You could see all the mounting and the hardware behind to an extent that it looked like the grill was missing all together. We are not a fan (yes PNW crew, I am speaking FOR you again) haha

maybe its just the angle that pic was taken at, if you focus your eye on the hood/windshield or other parts of the car, it almost seems for a quick second as if he has no grille lol

well you guys are saying yuck becuz you can see all the hardware behind, what if you can put a mesh behind the grille to cover all that up? kinda like how the silver car looks
