Exclamation Inven Front Owners

Hi guys,

For those of you have the Inven front, did you or your shop run into any problems trying to fit the factory undertray with this front bumper? How did you solve this problem? I would like to retain the undertray, if possible. What suggestions you got in order to make it work. Is zip-tie my only option? Please advise!

zip ties are pretty much the only option. I remember when I was fitting the inven and the undertray together I drilled the holes and screwed them in somehow but I may have lost some parts, I gave up and zip tied them.

^what you mean by you have lost some parts? Undertray is like a plastic sheet and just screw it under the bumper. There is no other parts besides the undertray and some screws.

short self tapping screws is all you need...if your shop can't figure that out, i don't think i'd have them working on my car.

psyco-can yu elaborate a bit more, i am not familiar with what they are, and how they can be used?

also because of the inven front bumper, did you have any issues with the fender liners on the passenger and driver sides?

mine look like the short black screw (2nd item on the page) but mine might be a little longer.....you can get them at any hardware store ACE, Home Depot, etc....i have the self tapping screws on connecting the fender liners to the cover and some beefier screws like the oem ones holding the undertray to the cover. it can be attached a million different ways.

before we painted my inven I lined up the under tray and drilled the holes myself. (to avoid further $) once i got it back I lined up the bumper and the undertray and it wasnt the same as when I drilled them. I just gave up and went with zip ties.

Guys, there is an opportunity to get in on a group buy for the INVEN in poly (click link in my SIG)! This will be designed to match up to the OEM undertray. All you fiberglass owners, when you're slammed like patman530 here, that's even more reason to invest in poly!

The group buy is going but from another vendor. This will be 100% compatible with the undertray! Here is the link:
