when i bought the car they had some 20'' chrome rims with about a 8'' lip on em, rolled with those for the past summer but threw on the stocks for the nyc winter, point being i dont care for the chrome(too shiny for me) ive looked into powdercoating but they dont powdercoat two different colors,they said i would have to powdercoat one color then paint the next also googled the rims(ADR racing) and theyre cheap rims anyway so i might as well just paint the damn things....what is the strongest paint that i can use for my rims? should i remove the chrome somehow? or should i just sand them up then primer em? how can i protect the paint from chipping?
