hum.....i am trying to get a company to match the low beam and our fogs. Who would be interested in that? I was thinking that either change the low beam to 8k and have the fogs 8k HID also. WHat do you guys think??

If your car comes with the factory HIDs, these 6000k are just plug and play replacements like the h4s? No worrying about mounts and ballasts right?

Hey Martin-
Just wondering about the bulbs you just put in, do they have a blue tint to them? or were they clear as the stockers? i found a pretty informative site about how HIDS are made and the various companies that make, quality, etc.
http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/
I too have ordered some generic 6k D2r's, was gonna go for the Phillip Ultinons, but figured these knock offs are about 140 shipped,(can't complain w/that) versus 280ish for the ultinons. You also have to keep in mind that the bulbs will settle to a color eventually, and that the initial color should change with the burn in.
Post some pics of whatcha got..im sure they aren't too bad!

Re: osram 6000k vs. Philips 600k
Joey's completely right about the HIDs being dimmer because the higher up in the Kelvin range you go the less light there is and the more glare there is.
Check out this site I found it very informative and it made me want to stay with stock. Definately a good read for those wanting to switch to higher HIDs.

I had the Philips 6000Ks installed, and though they look nice, I think they light up the road a bit less well than the stocks. Glad I didn't go for the higher color temperatures. Must be a different mix of gases that makes the difference.
