i ordered my ings spoiler in mid september and Richard told me it was coming from Japan and would be at my door in 6-8 weeks, which i was willing to wait. So I am now expecting it any day and i e mail him wondering where it is. He now tells me that the spoiler missed the boat and wont be here for another 6 weeks. I am infuriated!!!!!!!

its not their fault...its probably the ings maunfacturers fault. I got my gialla lip from them and everything went great

 

I've never had any problems with Bulletproof Automotive. Com'on man, $hit happens sometimes. Just because of this one time incident, you don't have give them a bad name. It's not like they sent you a bad product and left you out dry.

 

Its just like ordering your G35 from Japan, or rims from Japan, or even custom wheels ( Iforged! ) in the U.S., $hit happens sometimes and expect dalays, you'll just have to be patient. Long delays sucks, but just deal with it. Why worry and stress over it, it will not show up any faster. I know your pain, my G35 took 4 months!! to arrive. Anyways, I also ordered from BulletProof 2 weeks ago ( Ken-style full bodykit and Ings aero fenders ), and they stated 6-8 weeks to arrive. So will see, but Im prepared for any delays. It will come!

 

Unless they have it in stock, always expect delays.

I think the SEMA show in Vegas F'ed up all those aftermarket companies and their shipping. Give them a break....it could just be timing.

they should at least give you a discount or something. i dont like companies that don't live up to their promises and then do nothing to make it better. well i guess thats normal when buying from a small company like bulletproof

 

i don't get it....just because it's shipping from asia, if it missed the boat, aren't there other freightships around? is there just one ship available for the entire continent? i've ordered things from asia before and it arrived within a couple weeks.

i'm thinking either they only have one ship or since it takes up to 8 weeks, they're using a fleet of riceboats to ship here to the states: )~

 

Most US companies that import items have a scheduled container, they bring one container over once a month or every other month. Allows them to ship everything together for cheap(er).

Its only a spoiler . . .imagine waiting 16 weeks for wheels - not that they won't be worth it when they get here but you get my drift.

 

try waiting 2.5 months for the data system grille!

 

bullet proof is the biggest piece of shyt!!!!!!!!! they wanted to charge me like $350 for shipping where as i got it from intense motorsports and the charged me $125 for shipping and the knocked off like 135 off the front veilside lip and everything was just about like @ a wholesale price, when i spoke to richard he told me he couldnt refund me the money because he wanted to charge me a restock fee of 3% so i was like w/e about it and complained, intense motorsports is the best people ever and to top it off they give you advice on when you get the kit and shyt

lip since early july.. Same excuse... The lip missed the boat.. then it was a delay in the port. I'll call tomorrow to see what else they come up with. The Sh!tty part is that I cant get my money back since its a "special order"
