IMO, if there is a separate regulator for the window motor, then that probably needs to be replaced as well.

Why do I say that? yesterday, I would make my drivers' side go up automatically and when it would reach the top, it would try to go further (extra noise noted). By the end of the night, my window motor quit & now the window is stuck down. I'm not sure if there is actually a regulator, but I'm about to look it up and find out... we might have to replace the motor and the regulators.

Have you been replacing the motors yourself? Or have you been taking it to the dealership (warranty replacement by 1 yr or # mileage would be helpful)

Good luck

Adrian

where did you get the window motors from? don't buy the auto parts store ones, I went thru 2 from rockauto. They are just remanufactured junk. they don't last. I finally bit the bullet and ordered a factory replacement from Infiniti and it has lasted so far 2 years. The dealer told me that they made some changes to the new motors to prevent the premature failures that the original ones had.

have you guys tried using the reset switch located on the window motor? search it on Google and they'll tell you exact instructions on what to do.
I had to do it after I changed my battery. worth a try if it saves you guys $130
