I'm not going to replace my tail lights with euro-style or clear lens unless I find the "cool" one. I'm just trying to modify it. I'll post some pics later if it turns out good.

For god"shake", I'm a "Man" not a sad kid just like u.

godlike: youre an idiot. wtf response is that. did he mention he found some clear lenses he was replacing them with? NO. even if he did, so what thats his car not yours. maybe hes doing body work, maybe hes changing the reverse bulbs, or maybe hes creating some led rings for the blinker (which you would probably go gaga for).

new guy asked a simple question and got a **** response. which if he does have a cool idea, he is more unlikely to share with the community.

what is "uncool/rice" to you maybe pretty "spiffy" to others. just like your opinion on the veilside kit. i find it horrid but i dont ridicule other ppl's rides equipped with it because i dont make their payments.

oh and i found this quote from one of your posts...thank you very much.

HAHA.....ppl got jealous when u got good stuffs. Just do whatever u think is cool. I think that kits [veilside] is nice, forget about what other ppl said to u.
maybe i am one of those ppl gotting jealous for the good stuffs i dont know, but you are definitely contradicting yourself. your response just makes this forum appear more sucks to the newcomers. and i am just a big of an idiot for responding and not helping this guy out.

ok, i need a hug.

I don't own a G yet, but I came up with this from a search...

Open the trunk and remove inside panel covers. Then look for the 8 and 10 mm nuts along back panel and remove them.

I tried the one on the right side this morning. After I removed those two nuts, I got stuck some where at the reverse light, couldn't pull it out. I didn't see any nuts or clips on the back panel of the reverse light. Any ideas everyone? Thanks.

removing taillights

after you take the liner out, and the tire cover out. i think it's four nuts that hold the tail lights in. you need an extension. but the bolts are 10mm.

If you're planning on electrically modifiing the taillights don't do it. I know a guy that did it (not mentioning any names) and his it greatly screwed up his car and cost him about 3grand to fix. The ECU was stopping the car from reving past 3,000 RPM when he turned the blinkers on. It took 2 Nissan engineers to find this out.
