Modify front bumper

I need to know how and what to use to modify my front bumper on my 04 G35 coupe. What kind of clay or foam and where to buy it online. Any DIY videos would help. I've worked with carbon fiber before but never anything this scale. Thanks

I'm in CA. I've done carbon fiber projects and know that it's expensive but I need some info about molding the parts from clay or foam. Where to buy , what to get and some tips on how to.

subscribed, post what you figure out, I'm planning on doing something similar. I don't really like any available options out there for the sedan, other than a stock 05/06 bumper. Which I may grab and customize to fit the 03/04. Probably be less work.

You can use clay or foam but that's only for sculpting your plug.. from there you'll need to glass over the clay or foam and make it into a hard solid plug to make a mold out of.. finally the mold from your finished piece is going to be the one you want to put on your car.

For foam make sure the foam you use can withstand resin.. if not then a cheap trick would beo to duct tape over the foam and glass over that lol..

^Good tips dude. I wasn't planning on making a mould, I was planning on just modding the bumper and that's it. Not sure what the OP's up to though.

I'm just intending on changing the vent setup essentially.

Vents should be okay but If you're building a bumper from clay foam or bondo it won't last eventually crack or chip >.<

Not mine, but maybe the OP will chime in with his intentions. mine will be a redo of the vents, and I may add a purchased lip. that'd be it. Nothing that will need a mould, or blocks of freaking wood, either, to be sure.
