Mine has a few faint scratches and for that price I'll replace it all day long. lol

It looks almost like it just unclips and pops right off? Anyone done it before?

I've been doing extensive searching around here on various topics but haven't run across my answer...

There are 2 different models. 03-04 and 05-07 (or did the 05's have the old style too? I forget, I know the 05's have the newer cluster).
The older ones pop right off using the key in the notch on the bottom of the handle. The newer style has the notch in the lower side of it. And the older style crack EASILY when removing, so be careful.
You're an 06 so you just have to make sure you don't buy the older style.
The ebay auction "says" it's the newer aluminum one, but the picture is the older one and will not fit your car.
Ask for newer pictures to verify they have the right one to fit the 06. Don't take their word for it.

 

03-04 and 05-07 for that piece.

note the 03-04 is one style of door.. 05 is its own style and 06-07 is its own..

03-04 is the ugly interior
05 is the revised with chrome handles and brushed trim
06-07 they added leather to the arm rest and brushed trim to the door speaker cover.

but to answer your question you'll want the 05-06 trim.. and it pops off.. I actually popped mines off just from the side with a plastic wedge.. pretty easy..
