hey i just bought a mg2 carbon trunk (bird bath)
i just got my front end repainted and dont really want to buy a carbon hood

i bought the carbon trunk as it was a good deal and i like the look
id like to get it painted but it would be easier to sell carbon when the time comes
and stripping the paint off may damage it

i like the look of an all black car so i was thinking of getting 3M 1080 Vinyl Wrap - Gloss Black about 4x4 4x5 ft and wrapping it, should only cost around 45 bucks


what do you think, will it be a good match or too easy to tell that its been wrapped

Just get it painted.. I know why u wanna use the wrap but I dont think it will look right..

 

thats what i was thinking too, ! we will see what i decide before summer i may try and get a sample of the wrap to compair

 

i hv a OB and i Vinyl Wrap my roof with the 3M 1080. they looks the same. cant tell the different

 

i use Gloss Black too
