Chrome Look Headlamp Background

Has anyone ever thought about getting the chrome look on the inside of the G35 headlamps (normally a dark gray)? I am trying to envision what it would look like on the G. I'm thinking something similar to how the new STS headlights. Does anyone have an idea how this could be done?

Its called "paint". J/K You can take your headlight housing apart and have the inside sprayed with your choice of colors.. Here is what it would look like..

So is mine, but I have seen the darker gray look as well. I think it was introduced in 2003.5 or 2004. The chrome ones were cracking too much. I didn't pick up on the difference until I was at a meet and saw my car next to someone elses.
