Nice Kit. I have an Ivory Pearl G35, and I'm having troubles with the bodyshop matching the Ivory color. Even when you order a something from Infiniti for a Ivory pearl "G" the color is still off. Are you positive it will fade and match the rest of the car? Just curious, i'm tired of taking the car back and forth to the bodyshop....

^ pearl is not an easy task when it comes to paint matching. it's hella hard. most people i know end up painting the whole car over. yes, it could fade and match up close enough, however, it depends if the original is protected (e.g. wax/polish/etc). since the paint is fresh, you have to wait about weeks to a month then start adding wax, etc.

Well, here's a update on the subject of the paint. A couple months has passed now and it seems like it's fading in slowly. What do you guys think?

I run into this same kind of color question all the time. If you look closely the color of your new kit matches the car, but not the bumpers. This is because of the bumpers material (polyurethane). I have painted cars with the bumpers on the car, painted all together, and the bumpers are still a different color than the rest of the car. And even though your new kit is polyurethane, it is a different kind of poly than your bumpers. There is TPO and non TPO plastic. Only thing the bodyshop could have done is tint to your bumpers instead of your car, but then the sideskirts would have been too dark. Or they could have made up two different colors one for the bumpers and one for the sides, but this is usually too much work for most shops.

Wussup Dave! Got any new parts for my car? I'm itching to spend some $ I got the paint job done by my buddies over at M1 Autobody in El Monte, CA. I can't say exactly how much I paid but it didn't exceed the double digits. Thanks for the info Joenismo and all the compliments guys! GUniit, say hi to Mike at DPE for me.

Eurog35, It's the same kit. Ings +1 is the manufacturer and LX Sport is the type of kit. So far, ings +1 has only made 1 G kit (LX Sport). Check out...www.ings-net.com for more info.

Looks great. Can't tell how you guys can see the color being off, but that's just me. Quick question, what is the paint code for IP? Is it QX1? I like the spoiler...
