how has ur replacement window motor treating u?

since the window motor replacement thread is flooded would be nice to hear from anyone whos replaced their window motor and theyre recommendations and experience with their replacement parts and where they got the part from

i replaced mine both from orielys with lifetime warranty. passenger motor worked strong for 3 years i jus replaced it yesterday under warranty. im still happy so long it has the warranty lol im a heavy window user meaning i put my windows up and down every day and rarely use my ac ever.

let us know what u replaced with and how its been working for u. is the oem replacement motors still crap?

maybe if it's thumping, the threshold isn't set correctly and it's bottoming out. I replaced both of mine with oem, and they're fine. I think it was the 03-05 batch that was bad from the factory. They all went out at around the same timeframe. OEM isn't cheap, but the replacement seems to be improved.

I replaced the brushes in my original motor but I accidentally broke one in half when I was putting it in, so I greatly shortened the life if it since it started with half of it gone. It still worked for like a year before the brush I broke wore out again. The second time taking it apart, I broke one of the bushings and it didn't go nearly as smoothly as the first time. It wound up burning out the drivers side window switch (DOH!) so I replaced the switch and motor with new OEM parts from Sewellpartsoline and it's back to working like new. If you're going to replace your brushes, go slow and be gentle!

So sorry bro just seen this, I'm sure they do as it is a brand new item. Just contact them, circle Infiniti in New Jersey (I they they are on here as well). I got mines through their eBay ad to get it at that price with Free Shipping.

Did you buy the brushes separately? If so how much did you pay and where can someone get that?
