So, long made short - the plastic body bit that runs along the upper edge of the drivers side window got gouged up and mangled - and I'd really like to replace it. Problem is - I don't know what it's called and that's a pretty important step toward figuring out where / how to get a new one!

So - here's a pic to show you which part I mean:

I've been searching here on driver for terms like "door trim exterior" and such but not really finding anything.

And I'm *quite* sure but maybe it's part 2 in that image... then again that loos like it's likely the rubber bit the window nuzzles it's self into...

Honestly - I just don't know. Much respect to anyone who can get me some info on this

 

I believe that is just called an exterior A-Pillar, but I could be mistaken. Also, the part #2 that you are referring to is not the part you are looking for rather the inside rubber door molding that cushions the top of the glass when the door is shutting. Hope that helps!

 

If still no luck, Infiniti parts dept should have a computer with a diagram of all parts, bring this pic in to them and ask them to pull up the diagram which will have the part # pointing to each piece
