Wiper Problem

Hi guys,

I bought my 04 Coupe a year ago, and have only used my wiper a couple of times since then. The passenger side's wiper seemed a little old and left marks, but I did not bother with it until now. The wiper fluid has been empty since the day I bought the car, but now I refilled it and this happened:

I always thought that the fluid would be sprayed out of the car through nozzles, but for the G, it's being sprayed through the wiper. For mine, it just drips out. Why? When I open my hood, the driver side wiper sprays out, but the wiper does not move. The passenger side wiper just drips out and does not move.

Also, I noticed that the fluid went down ridiculously fast (I couldnt see the fluid anymore after using the spray around 10-15 times).

Did somebody ever had a similar experience? What do I need to do?

Check for leaks in your resevoir and hoses.. I think the hose runs up the passenger side then across the hood..

Also unclog the sprayers in the wiper. Use a metal needle or a plastic toothpick and pick out the dirt that has built up in it. THe tubes are under the passenger side cowl and near the battery and then run along the fender and then down to the reservoir.

Nice, my wipers stoped spraying as soon as I changed the blades. My reservoir had been full for months. I'll try the unclog method. THANKS👍
