So I paid my mechanic 150$ to install a prepainted oem spoiler on my G.. idk i feel like that is a bit pricy.
Also I just purchased a karuma z front bumper and he quoted me for 400$ to paint and install it, do these prices sound fair to you?

 

That's a reasonable price for painting/installing the KurumaZ bumper. It must be sanded, primered, painted then cleared all using a flex agent so the paint will stay on. The $400= is a good deal to have it done right....Gary

 

Hmm.. apparently my mechanic is the "best" around my neighborhood because all car enthuasist go to him but when he painted my front lip the paint did NOT stick on at all.. it cracked and then flaked off slowly so I just removed my front lip. I gotta be sure to tell him to sand it down and stuff then I guess..

I feel bad for people that do have mechanical skill they spend so much more money than the rest of us lol.

not a bad price for the front bumper that's about going rate.

I put my spoiler on myself and it was super easy so I cant justify the extra 150.

 

Don't feel too bad, not everyone grows up with a Dad that gives them great mechanical skills and knowhow. We must consider ourselves damn lucky!
I don't feel $150= is excessive to install a OE rear spoiler!

Geezzz, I got more quotes from my mechanic
So its 800 to paint and install both my impul side skirts and my karuma z front bumper, and also 200 to install my seibon carbon fiber hood ?___? Im pretty sure the front hood price isnt my normal lol

 

u should really consider being a man and installed those parts urself . its not hard. grow some hair on those nuts lol
