Rock Guard - CF Seibon TS Hood - 04 Coupe

Hey Guys,
Wondering if anyone has experience or has heard of anyone doing anything to their CF Seibon/CF hoods in order to protect them against rock chips, dents, etc... I was thinking of going to a shop to get the 3M Rock Guard Film applied but I thought I would throw this out there.

Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

Thanks

Don't do 3m it doesn't look good on carbon fiber. It affects the weave look... Sadly there is not much you can do..... Just be careful

Is the stuff I'm talking about, are you thinking the same thing (I think you are). How will it affect the weave look as its clear? Just looking to clarify. Maybe a clear/leather bra would help just travelling on the highways - just a thought, what do you think?

I live in Canada and there is an abundance of sand and rocks, any other ideas that fall to mind?

Thanks guys.
