If I remember correctly, didn't the Nismo front bumper use to have the license plate opening for the coupe? Looks like everything I see now it's not there. I understand it look much better and cleaner without it but I daily drive and don't even wanna bother with that front plate ticket. Had enough of those in my life.

Anyone know where to buy the Nismo front with the plate opening or if they even make it anymore?

You are correct, the Nismos used to come with the cutout, but all the vendors sell the V3 version without it. Youd be better off doing this mod IMO. I did this and its really handy to pull it off at car shows and for cleaning...

That's not for the license plate
That's for the tow hook.

You still have to drill or try the license plate DIY to run your front plate.

 

Oh yeah sorry. That's what I meant. I have the Stillen Tow hook License plate holder.

 

Is it really secure on there? Also, doesnt leave any small scratches from putting it on or off granted I probably wouldn't be taking it off much

 

Yeah it is on there good, but it depends on your bumper thickness and material and how strong your magnets are. I ran a bead of clear silicone around my bracket so it doesnt scratch the bumper at all.
