so ive been searching for awhile about getting suede done to my headliner and pilars but barely find anything besides pictures. so i figured id start a thread about it..
below are some questions i have or would be asked in the future. ill try to update them with answer's down the road.
also post some pictures of work that has been done to your car!
is there a certain brand to get?
should i do it myself or get the work done professionally?
ultra suede, faux suede or alcantara suede?? or maybe just vinyl.
should i get grey or black suede. maybe even orange? (jk)
diamond stitch?
what did you guys pay to get certain work done?? ( aka just door panels, or adding suede to front / rear seats )
how long does the material last before needing to be replaced?
should i buy material with padded backing?
cant think of anything else atm lol.

yeah i deff agree on getting the higher quality suede for sure!
so ive been going around to shops all day ( about 5 in total ) and non of the owners was in at the time <.< so ill have to waste more time again on tuesday. but anyway i just got back from a place that does custom headlight work, and they quoted me 800$ IF i was looking to do something similar to this below.... or 450$ just to paint the headlights..
edit: got an email quote and it was over $1,100... pass.

So i went to a few more places today and only 1/3 gave me a quote on the spot ill try to update post when the others call me.
750 for headliners and pilars.
150$ per insert on seat so 300$ per seat or 900 for all 4. ( i was thinking black or red )
They can also redo the infiniti logo and letters if needed or i can suede over it and put "g35" on headrest...
We talked about the sides of the doors and maybr dash but got no numbers.. But he said itd deff be 2g+ to do the whole interior if your looking to go all out.
