My front bumper got screwed up and I need a new one.
I got this last one from R1 and the fitment was absolute trash. I have a fantastic fiberglass guy who could barely get it on.
Could someone point me in the right direction so I can get my car back on the road fast...
TY

What did they say? Why would telling them do anything. I got a bumper that isn't even close, what are they going to do-- send me a new one? am I going t send the bad one back? Nope just dealt with it.

Your second mistake was buying a fiber glass front bumper, they take a beating and won't survive! You can contact R1 thru our Marketplace under vendor classified then exterior. The time to contact them would have been when your body guy was having trouble making it fit, or was the issue his?

Just live with **** poor products and accept it as your lot in life.

It's a cheap bumper that is huge, we buy these things knowing they aren't going to be perfect-- I just won't give them return business.Originally Posted by jerseytaylor

My car is very low and **** happens. If I buy a 1500$ bumper, I'll just be replacing a 1500$ bumper every year-- at least fiberglass is easy to fix and cheap to replace. I've spent 10s of thousands on my car, I don't cheap out-- I get exactly what I want. I have a body shop guy who does amazing work with fiberglass-- their is less peel on my fiberglass parts than my actual car-- and when the piece is made correctly he makes does wonders with getting it to fit (Even when it's messed up he still did a great job). I don't see the point to just burn money on something that's more expensive- and hardly arguably better.
Thanks for the invitation to contact R1 again, but as the OP says- they do not deserve my return business with their low-quality products

No I hear you man
I originally asked because of how Stephen usually comes on here defending any damaged products vehemently.
I was curious if he gave you the run around or perhaps tried to fix it-in your case this didn't happen.

Having to buy something from a "company" whose website directs you to a facebook, and getting 1 word responses to questions every other day is leaving me with a really bad feeling about handing this "company " Outcast Garage, my money.
I feel like if you actually ran a business you'd have a way to order things and actually respond to requests for people trying to give you money.

^^ agreed. I just got their emblemless grille and fitment was spot on. Had a good feel to it as well. Like a solid 9/10 compared to stock. Will def be getting my trunk lid from them...unless I find a good used one close by
