Question How To Remove The Headlamp Assembly?

Hello all,

I have a 2005 G35 Sedan and would like to know how to remove the headlamp assembly. Do you have to remove the bumper (please hope not) or is it simply unscrew bolts?

Can anybody help me out here, details please? This is a new car and don't want to make any unecessary steps. That's why I am a member here.

By the way did I mention this is an awesome forum and everybody here is super duper cool?

Thanks!

hmmm.....lemme see if i can remember how....there are like 10 screws that go along the bottom of the bumper that you'll have to take out. I think it attaches to the splash guard on the bottom of the car. There are some pop in screws underneath the hood that you'll take out and in the inside of the fender. Now on the coupe there are two screws that are holding the fender and the bumper together that you'll have to take out. I think after that the bumper should pop out. From there you should see the screws that are holding the headlight in. You'll have to pop off the connector to the headlights to take the headlight all the way out.

Do you have to jack up the car in order to do this?
