Touch up paint advice
Touch up paint advice
Just got my G about a week ago and someone has already been so kind and slammed there door into mine leaving a gnarly little scratch.
What do you all recommend for touching up things like this?
Also, the leather piece that sits above the glovebox is starting to peel back. What type of glue or technique should I use when repairing this? Seems like an awkward place to apply weight for an extended amount of time while waiting for the glue to set.

Whatever you do, don't use Plastikote. The color match is pretty on point at first, but it been about a year+ and my ivory pearl touch up spot has now faded to some **** yellow color. Luckily it's a small spot, but regardless, I'd hit up a Nissan dealership for a proper touch up kit.
I go to a paint shop I trust, they have a color spectrometer. Find a three star match, or give them the color code. Sand down, tape off a square around the area, primer, paint, clear. Blend by buffing. Perfect!
