Would anyone here be able to help me find the exact color code from PPG for a 2003 brilliant silver coupe.
I've at this point figure out that the PPG color code is 5874 per this link (paintref) , however I roughly understand that each color has a few different variants/shades depending on the year. So as far as I understand a 2003 brilliant silver 5874 might not perfectly match a 2005 and for example when I was looking up the dupont codes at my local supplier he had some 16 variants of brilliant silver. Please correct me if I misunderstood the variants of the color and if not then how do I determine the exact color code or rather color variant?

Or do I have this all wrong?
