i need to get my ivory pearl front bumper painted, can anyone give me an estimate of decent pricing? im in the san fernando valley ( LA county), any body shop recommendations? any help is GREATLY appreciated, thanks

 

I don't have pricing info for you but from what I understand its the toughest color to match up on our beloved G's...I have IP as well, and the pearl effect is not easy to match...Be sure to inspect it very carefully and get the results you want...Gluck

 

i think i remember hearing that a somewhat decent paintjob for a front bumper would cost about $400 or more.

 

To put things in perspective, I had my rear bumper replaced with a new one and repainted IP for $900. I'm in New York. You figure the bumper itself cost around $450. So paint and labor cost me $450. It came out great. I remember the guy saying it's a 3-stage paint, what ever that means.

 

when he said 3-stage he probably meant a layer of white, pearl, and then a clearcoat.

 

yes i heard it was the most expensive, i was afraid that it was true. Sucks to have someone hit and run, oh well there goes the paint job for a while. thanks for your feedback guys
