Help - Clearance Strip
i'm getting my car tomorrow and the first thing i want to do is change the clearance strip bulb. i was thinking of going with this White LED Wedge Bulb or this Blue-White LED Wedge Bulb
will these fit my car?
are the Bule-White LED's legal in Texas?
Which one of these matches the HID Low beams better?
can i install them by just opening the hood and not the peel back method?

they much cheaper than the site you went.
You can install them from the engine bay, but you have to have a skinny hand, my hands barley fit, and since theres a lot of sharp metal, be prepared to cut your self a few times. But since I havent installed mine yet I cant tell you for sure, this is what i've been told

well i just bought PIAA White LED Wedge Bulb (19263) from Car Toys. i'm picking my car up tomorrow and i'm not sure if should ask them to install these for me. i've heard it's quite tricky changing the clearance bulbs.
i'm looking at the replacement lights right now and i wanna know why where the bulb connects to the car, one side has a red dot? like a positive, negative thing.
help me out please.

its not that bad of an install, i did it this morning. First I tried the easy way by trying to do it from the engine bay. I was able to get the bulb out but since my hand bearly fit, I wasnt able to get it back in. So after a couple of tries, I gave up. So i took the wheel off and the fender off, it just two screws and 5 tabs. Over all it took me 45min to do both lights. It only took so long cause of having to take the wheels off, but you can turn the wheel all the way to the right, but i like to work w/ a lot of space. If you are somewhat good with a wrench, it will be a very easy install, specially if you have a small hand
I was able to do it the easy way through the engine bay. Did not tear my hand up too bad, got a few tiny scratches but it only took me about 10 mins. Just remember which direction the tab is facing when you pull the bulb holder out if you do it this way. That way it is easier to put it back in, cause it only goes in one way.
ya i dunno if i still wanna do it. i took a look at it the other day and it looked kinda confusing and tight. i'm gonna hold off on it for a while plus i already returned the lights. if they burn out, i'll go buy them again and have someone install it for me. right now i wanna practice manual. thanks anyways guys.
this install isn't too bad to do, but like they said you need to remember which direction the lights were in because they only go in that way... and it is a very TIGHT fit... i have small hands, but it was still very hard for me to do this...

I managed to change mine in about 15 minutes with the pull back method, just cut the wheel toward you take out the 2 screws, you have to have a stubby screw driver though. Then cut the wheel the other way and pop off the 5 tabs, 3 will be right along the wheel well and the other 2 are farther back closer to the spring. Then just pull back the plastic and swap out the bulbs.
