change to 8000k HID

Hi ! i dun really know anything about car...=.=
so I have a question !
I want to change my stock HID to 8000k !
and the sales said that I should get the whole kit instead of just the replacement bulb....cuz the stock transmission might not be able to give enough power to the bulb..so it'll end up burn the transmission or the bulb.
Now I am confused....should I just get the bulb or I have to get the whole kit?
ps: which brand is the best 8000k bulb out there?

Thank You !!!!

You only need bulbs. You dont need a whole kit. Just make sure you get D2R bulbs. And make sure they are not cheap ones. because those will burn fast.

but next time, you can look a couple post down and see what people have done.

Just remember, the higher the number, the less road you see. Especially in the rain.

And the more glare you will produce for oncoming drivers.

Id also suggest changing your blinker fluid when you change your HID capsules.
