the front bumper and fender have been molded together on this car making them one piece...

NOTE, Molding body parts is the easy way out for a bodyshop. it is much easier for them to make it all one piece than to make the part fit like oem. any good body shop would not do this unless you request it (i dont know why you would though)
And to tell you the truth I didnt think anyone still did this but the guys with show and no go cars or guys with Civics. There is no way to stop this process from cracking. It will look great for a few months until you hit something or the filler shrinks.

I don't see what you are getting at... what do those pics have to do with what we are talking about. Also so you admit you were wrong as you thought wrong so thats cool.

I'm not trying to argue with you man so you can drop it. I'm just trying to provide ACCURATE information to the board members. so they dont go getting their kits molded without them first knowing what they are gonna get... PEACE OUT! your new color looks pretty good BTW.

so the right answer is.... Molding is basically the process of making 2 or more body pieces into one. like if you said i molded my front lip to the bumper, you would have a lip that is bonded to the bumper, had the seams removed and painted over it all making it all one piece.

thats cool everyone makes mistakes, at least you are big enought to admit that your'e wrong. Nah i dont do bodywork. I'd rather just pay someone here in so cal to do it. BUT i have been in the industry for quite some time now and am familiar with the terms, processes and materials relating to fiberglass and bodywork and fiberglass manufacturing. is there some reason why you would ask that? was the information that i prodived incorrect? ok then...

Hahaha your a funny guy! I asked because you act as though you have delt with bodywork. In the other topic about knock off kits you say the pics I posted look fine. I just thought by saying that you must work with this stuff, lol.
The problem is most guys do just pay. They just drop it off at the bodyshop and say I want this on my car. They then come back here and say look at how good my fake kit fit. But what they dont know is how much work their bodyman put into it to make it fit. The problem with that is, one guy might take his stuff to a bodyshop and get one price from a shop that doesnt usally do these kits, hell get a good deal. Another guy might take his stuff to a shop in his area that has delt with this junk and try to charge him a arm and a leg! In the end I think we are both looking out for members. I just want people to watch out for this stuff!
