As you can see Mine were Extreme... I don't think there are much difference between two but mine kinda shows a little bit of blue trace if u look at it from far away.. But thats what i like.. IMO not much diff..

If it's illegal, then howcome so many people are doing it? The blue color is pretty obvious at night.

I'm wondering if anyone thought of these 2 questions:

1. Is the factory side mirror blinkers on the new cars nowadays consider same as the clear corners?
2. What about those totally clear side blinkers that you can see through the bulb from VW? I think Jetta and bugs has them...

I have not seen the JDM clear corners in person and perhaps they are not as reflective as orange factory ones, or maybe VW's clear side blinkers has mirror-like reflective in them. So I assume they are legal?

I'd like to get them too, but I wouldn't want to give any excuses for cops to pull me over.

That's the way it is since the first G was introduced. If you want it blinking, I believe there is a DYI for it. Run a search in FAQ & DIY section. Just remember, there maybe some dealers consider this as voiding warranty.

All white bulbs have a slight hint of blue in them, but its what makes them look really good. As far as being legal or not i'm not sure. But i've had mine for about a week a have passed many cops at night time. Even in ft. lauderdale where cops are d***s, they have not pulled me over, the just stare at the car (not the lights) because its so beautiful and then they go about their business

Because it looks so friggin' hot! It's funny driving in traffic and you see other drivers and/or their passengers craning their heads to see the front end of the G. A lot of guys drive without front plates in states that require them even though its illegal because the front plate ruins the front end. As long as the lights are not TOO blue, you'll be OK.
