I have an 03 sedan that runs great @ 105,000 miles, Paint has been rusting though. Im wondering what it would cost to have a decent paint job done, Its a black sedan, Im in the NYC NJ area. I tried to search, Id love to see a post of folks that have taken pics of their repainted cars. Ive heard, its not worth it since an 03 sedan isnt worth much more then the price of a good paint job, also heard a cheap paint job will look worse then what the car looks now, not sure would love feedback.

 

Nope. Not worth it. Rust will never go away, that car will either rust out, have a DIY bondo / weld repair, or get parted out to a cleaner car. Or someone could dump $3000 into it, who knows.
