Just the clear outer polycarbonate lens, is there any difference between the much less expensive reflector and the much more expensive projector?

Or does anyone know where I could source JUST THE LENS.

Ate a very large rock right on the lens and cracked one this weekend, the only thing holding it together is the clear headlight lens covers.

Unfortunately no one makes just lens replacements.

If you buy one of the eBay pairs, they use a thicker plastic than OEM and it gives the projector pattern a ghost "step" in the output. It's sucks all around.

Yes, I was able to put my oem lens from the 05 reflector headlights on some cheap 07 projectors with broken lens.

Ok so the lens on the projectors IS different than the one on the reflectors?

Damn...

And I also though about getting some eBay lights and using those lenses but now I know that will not work either.

Double damn...

I'm just talking about the clear outer lens, all the internals would stay the same.

I bought fancy E30 lenses for my G35 coupe color modded factory projectors. They had a beautiful color band with purple and blues.

And that damn eBay reflector lens I put on the OEM Projector housing ruined it. With the factory lens it looked pretty solid still.

You'll still have good output, it just kind of messes up the output a tad. It's your best of the worst option sadly.

Yeah I ended up buying a set of projectors with broken tabs for a screaming pricetag of $75. Looks like the vehicle was kept in a garage because there is zero oxidation. The shitty part was the new lens looked so much better than my old one on the driver side that I ended up swapping them both lol.
