Hey Guys, I'm about to purchase the HD-R wingless fiberglass trunk lid for my 03 G35 Coupe. But most people have been saying to avoid fiberglass so I wanted to know if theres any alternative out there. I really didnt want to go with the carbon fiber because it would get painted over anyways.

 

I think the people commenting negatives about fiberglass were talking about for front/rear fascia, not for the trunk.

I don't think there's any problems with the fiberglass trunk since they rarely get damaged or impacted by anything unlike the front/rear bumpers.
