Licenseplate Holder Dowel

Hello there, a Dowel kind of plastic piece holding my Licenseplateholder on the bumper broke and i cant find a replacement it seems.
Any help would be appreciated

I would just put a stainless steel bolt/nut/washer on it.

The problem is I can't reach the inside since the dowel end is encased in Styrofoam of the Bumper

Drill it out a little bigger and use a 1/4" stainless toggle bolt.

Or a "jack nut" that would be fine for a permanent installation. Plastic jack nut will be MUCH easier to install for a license plate holder.

Or u can just forget about that hole and drill a few new screws in through the plate holder and into the bumper. It will all be hidden behind the plate so who cares.
