nismo bumper

is the nismo front bumper the same, or close to the stock bumper's hight from the ground? i've been thinkin' about gettin' just the front bumper, but don't want it to look weird from the side. i've seen quite a few people's pictures, but they all took em at a certain degree. if there's anyone with just the nismo/replica bumper on the G, please post a side picture, if possible...to help me decide. thanks!!

not the same at all - with the molded lip at the bottom, I'd guess the clearance on mine is around 1-1.5" lower than the stock bumper... I'll see if any of my pics show the side view...

thanks guys, for the replies. and bzabodyn, i appreciate the pictures. I think from the side picture of yours, the bumper should look alright with the mud guard being about just as low? i'm thinking if i get the nismo bumper, will i need to get like an ED sideskirt as well. im really debating among myself.

I personally don't like the ED sideskirts because they are about an inch too low and don't flow with the Nismo front, imo... I think the best ones right now are the Nismo (duh!), Kenstyle (replica ones can be had for $400), and Burnout (very similar to Nismo - slightly cheaper)...

The Kenstyle one is a little much for my flavor however it may look nice in black. Anyone have a pic of a kenstyle front bumper in black?

The clearance is definitely different. It's not just slightly lower than the front bumper with the aero kit, but because it goes straight down, there is even less clearance.

Here's two pictures for comparison

Just to let you know, my old bumper is for sale on eBay if you want second hand authentic Nismo bumper.
