oh god, not a new version of the "ducatiguy is missing, and he's got my grill" thread. that fiasco was way too much drama for this board. Give him some time, Im sure he will show up.

Wow, thats bad!

If he is MIA, at least theres alot of good pictures. If I decide to do the work myself, these pictures... along with other DIY instructions... will help alot. Anyways, I'm not planning to do anything like this for a good while.

I have studied this thread and pics as well as some other HID forums and have come to the conclusion that a retro on our headlights is easy to do. My retro will be in progress as of Thursday. Got all my parts ready to go. My buddy and I have all day Thursday to work on it so it should be done same day.

as you do it can you take pics. Also can you start a new thread that describes your process, the components used, where you purchased them, and the cost. I think the community would greatly appreciate it.

thanks,

j

Not a prob wit da pics. The retro was kinda annoying just because its tedious work and not really one of the kinda mods I like to do. As far as the retro itsself goes it was rather simple because it did not involve cutting up reflectors or anything like that. I just had to take out 3 screws to remove the reflector from the mounting bracket and drill 2 new holes in the mounting bracket to mount the projectors.

You make it sound so easy... what was the tedious part of the retro?

btw, when you post the DIY steps... start a fresh new thread so it wont get mixed up with this guy's thread.

That was the only easy part. Everything else was annoying.
