2005 G35 Sedan HID Fog Lights Project - DONE! foglights
Ok,
I have been researching alot in the forum for HID fog lights, didn't quite find what I was looking for. However, I did find G35LIN from Team Transport gallary pics from the website http://teamtransport.org/gallery/album16. The pictures got me inspired to do my own HID retrofit on the fog lights as well.
To make the long story short, I used the OEM G35 HID ignitors and ballasts. Purchased D2R 3000K Philips bulbs, H4 adapter, electrical connectors, and some high temperature 18 awg headlight wires.
Issues I had....
1) I did lose the highbeam, which was fine to me. I hardly ever use it anyway.
2) Finding place to put the HID ignitors and ballasts, put after 10 minutes of contemplating, I was able to find the location. Thank to 3M doublesided tape, get the ones for outdoor. You can get the 3M tape at Home Depot.
And.......2 hours later......
