Is installing the OEM spoiler easy? NEED HELP!!

I bought the OEM spoiler for the coupe, and it came with everything I need. It has great instructions and template, but I was wondering if it's easy to install? The part that worries me is drilling holes into my baby. Do I use a drill bit or a hole saw? Is it just easier to take it to a body shop? I called Infiniti (just for kicks) and they said it would cost $275 to install it. Anybody with any experience with this is appreciated.

Thanks.

I have done spoilers on a honda before. If you use a bit. Make sure you get the right size, obviously, and make sure it is a diamond bit. buy the strongest sharpest bit you can find. then, when you drill the holes, don't push down so hard that you dent the trunk lid. It should go fine. I have never used a hole saw on anything metal so I wouldn't know. The LED wiring is going to be the hard part, not the drilling. Just take your time and don't let it spin out of control.

A good POWERFUL adjustable speed drill and a brand new bit should make the job easy.

GOOD LUCK

DITTO on this. I have installed several spoilers and it is a little nerve-racking. Get a new drill bit made for metal surfaces and you should be fine. I used a small punch to provide a hole for the drill bit to sit in so it would not run across the car when I initially started drilling. Also, ashadiow is right...don't push down to hard. Make sure the hole is sealed before you place the spoiler on....you don't want water leaking into your trunk.
