Hope that helps, these generic lights do look great, but if i were to do it all over again, i would probably get the Phillips Ultinons or the PIAA Cobalts, simply because of the unwanted glare i am getting. Both are at 6000k color rating.

Has anyone used the PIAA Super Cobalt HID's? They're rated at 6600K If so, how's the brightness? Bap Geon quoted a pair at $400. Pretty steep price. http://www.piaa.com/WhatsNew/WhatsNew.html

That's one of the first things I noticed when I bought my 04 sedan. They have a nice color when you turn them on then turn slightly yellow after about 30 seconds.

Compared to other HID cars, the G's HIDs just look like they have really bright halogen bulbs Thats why my 6000k HIDs were the first things I bought.

Making your headlight output more blue makes the G's headlights EVEN worse. I don't see why people would want to do this?! The g's headlights suck to begin with.

Its not that bad, my Ultinons seem hardly dimmer that my stock HID's were. If you mostly drive on well lit streets you would hardly even notice.

If I need more light on the road I just turn on my PIAA extreme white fogs.

Besides the color is just mesmerizing!! Especially when you turn them on in front of a lot of people, everyone just stares.....kinda cool!!

Exactly. Where I live... I could drive around with no lights on at night, and still be fine. Almost all the streets are well lit. 6000k light output on the G is still more than regular halogen on a normal car.
