I'm still learning up on G35s... so I'm not completely sure about what I'm about to say.

The low beams are HIDs. You dont need to swap out the entire OEM HID setup, you just need to swap out the OEM HID bulb. The fog/high beams are a dual filemant H4 bulb which you can also swap out for any kind of hyper white halogen bulb to have a closer look of HIDs to match the HID low beams. You can even go as far as buying an HID H4 kit to be able to run both HID lows AND HID fogs. There are HIDs that are specialized to fuction like a dual filemant bulb, but that can be alot more expensive.

lol, thanks. I've been fixing up hondas for some time now. I also know a thing or two about lighting and HIDs... but I just started looking into G35s So you could say that I'm a Honda veteran, but a G35 newb. So, in a way, I'm a newb with a head start haha. I just wasnt too sure of the G35's ligting setup... so I wanted to throw in my disclamer just in case I was wrong.

So to help throw in some more extra information to clear up everything, here is the lighting setup for the G35.

Low beam headlamp
HID-D2R (be sure to buy this type of replacement HID bulb)

High beam/foglight headlamp
9003 (H4 - Dual filament bulb)

Parking light
168 (M4)

Front turn signal
7440 (M1, M2, M23)

Rear turn signal
7440 (M1, M2, M23)

Back up light
921 (M6)

Sidemarker
194 (M4)

Okay cru, you just seemed to be here all the time regardless of the 4 hour time difference.
BTW, I would have thought vampires slept during the day.

You have to access the lights by peeling back the wheel well liner. It's not that hard. Check the DIY forum.
