I'm ready to put a kit on my car, but i dunno if i should go with the ings front and side or the full impul kit.what do you think?i have a ivory pearl coupe with gold le37ts.

to be totally honest with you.. I never really liked the impul front bumper. I hated how it had the license plate holder! After I found out it was urethane, I just gave up on that bumper because I knew I couldnt shave off the holder. I never even gave the impul a second thought... not untill I saw this front picture you just posted! WOW! Its really clean and classy looking! And now, since theres a fiberglass replica... it would be perfect to shave off that holder! And also, since its fiberglass, those little pad things on the upper corners of the bumper could also me smoothed out! Its very possible that I might end up buying it if I ever get sick of my Ings... and if theres still a good FG version of it.

Side skirts... I really dont like the ings sideskirts. Thats why I didnt buy it. They're too bulky, and they dont flow with the car. It looks like a box that got added on to the sides. I really like the KenStyle because it blends into the body... much like the Impul's sides.

One thing I like about the ings lip, is that it keeps the oem bumper... which I really like! It has two side vents, instead of the regular design of one big one in the middle, and two small ones on the side. But yeah... thats just my personal preferance.

Just do whatever you think is "you".

Nice ride bro! Why did you leave the licence plate part on your ings lip? Its alot cleaner when its shaved off. Its really not that nocieable though.. .since your car is black. I was suprised when I bought my Ings kit... I didnt know they had that peice there. Every car I've seen shaved that part off, so I thought somehting was wrong with mine. lol

 

I've always like the Impul kit except for two things; the rear bumper and the "bumper guards" on the front bumper. Aside from those two items I really like the Impul. Ings looks good too, just that my preference is Impul.

 

Ings with license plate holder removed= HOT!

I'm looking to go with that bumper myself or a heavily altered Kenstyle replica bumper.

 

Ings... nuff said....

 

I would have to Say Impul because I like having foglights down low although I must say the Ings looks tight with the extra wide lower grilles.

Adrian, I just saw your post! This is RaleighNC using my alternate account.

I meant to say the Impul with the plate holder removed and yes according to the distributor on this board the Kenstyle replica is fiberglass.

 

I agree about removing the license plate holder, however I am not fond of the idea of having a bumper crack in half and look like the crap I see on the roads on many other import cars. Frankly, it scares me , so I am extremely biased to the urethane... yet the urethane is the real impul kit which costs an arm and a leg. Can't ever get what I want!

SOMEONE MAKE THE KENSTYLE IN URETHANE! hhehe my only request :-D
