36 High Flux LED side markers
This will be offered as a conversion service. Hence, you don't have to go out and buy another set of lights. I have a set of stock amber lights that I can offer you on a core exchange basis if for some reason you do not have a spare set to put in your car while the conversion is being done. There will be a small fee for this though.
I have found a source for custom circuit boards for these lights. I can get a batch made up for a reasonable price that will have holes large enough to fit the stoppers of the high flux LEDs.
I can also do these lights in other colors as well. Personally, I prefer the pseudo-legality of amber (all my other lenses are clear, so its not totally legal, but thats a different matter). I know many people are a fan of white LEDs. They can be done just as easily, however they will cost more simply because white LEDs cost more. At the moment quite a bit more, but I believe I have found another vendor.
These lights can be color matched to your car. As I am new to the color matching thing, I am not sure what types of paint best match stock Infiniti colors. The lenses in the picture above have both the circuit board and the inner back plane of the housing painted flat grey.
The cost to produce these lights in very small quantities is pretty high, so I'll need at least 5 people willing to do this before I start building. The cost will be lower if more people are interested. Turn around time should be about 1 week including shipping.

To generate some interest in these, I feel it may be necessary to post the price for this conversion. If this is unacceptable, moderators, please feel free to edit the post.
The going rate for this conversion with amber LEDs is $175 and $200 for white LEDs. This includes the color matched circuit board and housing, and shipping.

After the limited amount sell how about a DIY? I test drove the car tonight and probably won't have it before you run through whatever amount you decide to make but I would be interested in attempting some myself (not to sell of course). By far the best looking clear corner solution I have seen so far.
No, this does not cause the fast blinking because the side markers to not blink. Not because of this modification, but because they don't blink from the factory. They also do not require any special wiring. They are simple, plug and go. I am using the stock bulb holder so you simply unclip it from the wiring harness, drop it in a box, and mail it to me.
I don't think I'll be doing a DIY, because I'd like to sell these. There are many people who are not comfortable prying open the lights as well as those who do not have the requisite soldering ability or knowledge of circuit design. I spent a lot of time developing and building these and I believe I can save people lots of headache and time by doing it for them.
One thing I will definitely consider though is a price reduction if the initial number of orders is higher. If I can get ten people to purchase, I will lower the cost to $150 for amber and $175 for white (including shipping). Keep in mind the clearcorners.com conversion is $225. Honestly, I think undercutting the price and providing a better quality product is a pretty fair deal. Also, I think I highly overestimated the turnaround time. It should be no longer than a week, including USPS priority shipping.

Wow Dustin I find it amazing that you're willing to offer others your service...trust me I know I believe I'm the first (non pro) to actually pull this mod off and trust me you'd have to pay me lot's of cash to do it again VERY TEDIUS! Nicely Done!

i have a question.
you know for your LED lights, why did you choose not to do it on the front? (the part that's curved towards the front?) just time consuming or any other reason?
wow...i'd love that in blue LED lights.
so you aint selling those?
if you are, PM me the price
keep it up!

Trust me, I would love to do the front, but unfortunately, the clearance inside the housing is about 1/8" or less at that point. The circuit board and bulbs just won't fit any further.
I can do a set of blue for the same price as the white ones, $200 with 5 orders, or $175 with 10. I should clarify that I mean 5 total orders, not 5 blue orders. I wish I could do them cheaper, but the simple fact of the matter is that white and blue LEDs are "all the rage" in the semiconductor industry now so they're commanding a price premium.
