full rear bumper replacement? aftermarket?

So I was rear ended a few months back. I have been holding off getting a new rear bumper in hopes that a full aftermarket rear would come out.

Does anyone know of something that is reasonably available (ie:doesnt have to be shipped from JPN) that is a full replacement for the rear...and NOT the Kenstyle, just not my taste. I looked into the INGS rear lip but the damage is too high up on the bumper that the lip wouldnt hide it.

Any ideas? I guess worse comes to worse I will just have to get a new OEM bumper. But I figure this is a good time to go aftermarket, as I plan to do side skirts and front aftermarket depending on the rear I decide on.

Take a look at the IMPUL full rear bumper replacement. It's made out of urethane, and from the pics I've seen, the fit and finish looks great. Urethane will flex some. whereas fiberglass is brittle and shatters.

However, it is pricey (ironically, probably not as pricey as an OEM replacement!). It's about $1000~$1100 BEFORE shipping.

Check out Bulletproof, they carry it on their website, but I would recommend checking with them on the phone before actually ordering, to verify that it's in stock.

Here it is:

I personally *LOVE* this rear bumper, but tastes are subjective.

Good luck deciding!

or you can go with the replica...but of course, you would be more prone to having damage to it if you bump something hard enough

thanks guys! yes that is a beautiful bumper but sort of what I was referring to as "from JPN" hense it being expensive.

Actually the OEM bumper is only $420 Canadian so about $340 USD not so bad but I figured if I am going to spend money why not go with aftermarket.

Hey is there a replica Impul available?? If so where and how much?? I wouldnt be too concerned about a fiberglass rear as it doesnt hit much. I would never go with a FG front though. Been there and done that.
