OK, finally got some pics for those who want to see if they 'match' stock HIDs...they dont really...in these pics the LEDs look real blue...but they arent in reality..something about camera's translating colors...not sure. anyways, I will be picking up either some 6k or 8k replacement bulbs, so they will prob. be a better match!! here you can see how white the stock HID color is....still a happy camper nonetheless!!

After reading this thread last week, I ordered 4 white LEDs. I installed the LEDs tonight in the clearance strips and the license plate. Installing them in the clearance strips wasn't very easy. But, I Just turned the wheel and got to work. The color is very white with a slight hint of blue. However, it is not a bright as I would like. However, its much much better than the yellow stock color. My lights look just like the picture above. The plates look great. I'm probably going to change the interior lights from yellow to white as well.

So possibly a stupid question, but if I buy these LEDs do I need anything else? Can I just pull out the old clearance bulb and put this in? I figure when I put on my winter tires in a couple of months I might as well change some lights when I have the wheel off.

All you need are these LEDs, nothing more...just install them where the stock bulbs go....

Yes. I bought 4 of these in August and one of the bulbs by the license plate is flickering. I have tried everything to fix it. . I emailed the company and they said they do not guarantee the bulb that long. So I ordered two others from velocity LEDs for my license plate. I should get them soon.
